Intended to be objects of art rather than functional works, my decorative pieces provide the opportunity for greater experimentation and creativity. Often incorporating different elements, styles and techniques within the same piece. A basic idea will reappear in a number of pieces defining a series of work. Following are the series that are currently in work:

Echoes of Asia: - In general, the earliest pottery was created to hold something, water, food or other items of importance. This series attempts to explore this idea through pieces that incorporate an old Asian look and feel.

Echoes of the Southwest: - A body of work which explores the elements that contributed to the making of the Southwest, the geography, flora and fauna, Native Americans, and the settlers both Spanish and eastern US. Not intended to be faithful reproductions but renderings based travels, readings and observation employing multiple technical approaches.
